They seem not to understand that no degree of mental illness can account for the depth of immorality to which they sank in the various aspects of their lives – political, financial, familial, etc.

Furthermore, they display an outrageous disregard for genuine sufferers of mental illness and their families, by seizing it as a readily available excuse to facilitate escape from personal accountability.

What a despicable display of moral cowardice.
