I often get laughed at when suggesting that people make their comments more personable and not just sit in broadcast/spam mode, so was glad to hear you emphasise the importance of being seen to be human. It is often seen as “cool” to be on Twitter without any real thought or strategy as to how it should be used. That’s the huge challenge facing the NICS at the moment and it remains to be seen if we can make a success of using social media.
I also had a look at the SDLP site after your speech too and you were spot on. I particularly cringed at the 556 links on the news page, imagine the fun a blind user would have with that site!
